A former federal minister and lawyer Khan Bahadar Khan died after a brief illness in his native village Tangi, district Charsaddah on Monday night. He was 80. Late Khan Bahadar Khan was one of the top lawyers of the NWFP.
He started political activities from the platform of National Awami Party (NAP) but then switched over to Pakistan People's Party and won the 1988 general elections from NA-2 Peshawar on PPP ticket and remained federal minister for religious affairs during the first tenure of Benazir Bhutto.
