Etimaad won Aisha Steel Mills Complex turnkey contract. "It will contribute in development of steel products in Pakistan and improve business, economic and cultural links in between Japan and Pakistan.

Said Mazhar Uddin Ansari, President and CEO of Etimaad Engineering during the Contract Signing ceremony held in Lahore on December 1, 2007.
"Steel Production is one of the major economic indicator of a Country's progress. This is a unique project of high value steel product which are currently imported in Pakistan from other industrialised world". Hasib Rehman, CEO, of Aisha Steel Mills Limited says.
He informed the participants at the ceremony that Aisha STEEL MILLS LIMITED was incorporated in May 2005 to set up a state of the Art High Tech Cold Rolling Mills in the Downstream Industrial Estate of Pakistan Steel, Bin Qasim Karachi at a cost of US $100 million. This facility is slated to manufacture high quality Cold Rolled Coils.
The initial capacity of the project is 220000 tons which will be expanded to 350000 tons in the second phase. The project will manufacture Cold Rolled Coils with a thickness ranging from 0.15 mm to 1.5 mm to cater the requirements of the Automobile, Engineering and Domestic Appliances Industries.
