The sleuths of Customs Preventive Collectorate on Monday thwarted an attempt of narcotic smuggling when it nabbed a Pakistani having British nationality at Jinnah International Airport following recovery of drug from his baggage. The accused was identified as Mohammed Sahber Nawaz s/o Dil Nawaz travelling on Passport No 034803219.
According to the Customs he was apprehended following recovery of 8 Kg heroin from his baggage before he could board a Gulf Air flight leaving for London via Bahrain. Customs said the drug was tactfully concealed in the top and bottom cavities of his suitcase.
