Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) has announced that its convocation will be held on 24th December 2007 at 10.am in the University Auditorium. The Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, who is the Chancellor of the University, has consented to preside over the convocation.
The graduates and postgraduates of the University Affiliated Colleges desiring to get BE, B.CRP, (03-batch), B.Arch (02-batch), BSc (Information Technology), also B.Tech (Pass) B.Tech Hons, B.Sc (Industrial Technology), MS (Business Information Technology) and ME, MPhil/ PhD degrees in their respective disciplines should apply to the controller of examinations of the university on prescribed application form. Form can be obtained from the service counter of the examinations department on all working days or by sending self-addressed envelope duly stamped. A special package of reduced fee has also been offered.
All the meritorious graduates of the said batches (Top of Faculty Best Graduate Position Holders) who have already received degrees in absentia and are entitled for the award of gold, silver medals, merit certificates must also apply on the same application form along with fee indicated therein.
The recipients of degrees and awards in the Convocation-2006 shall be allowed to invite their only one guest (either father or mother or brother or sister or spouse) at the ceremony.
