The staff of drug enforcement cell of Preventive Collectorate during mid-night of December,5 intercepted a Pakistani passenger namely Saifullah s/o Tahsinullah, holding Pakistani passport nos. AM2745971 and KEI23928. He was leaving for London via Doha by Qatar airlines flight no. QR-319.
Examination of his suitcase, led to the recovery of 5.1 kgs of brown heroin powder concealed in the suitcase. Preliminary investigation disclosed that a CAA loader namely Shafi Muhamamd s/o Shaban Saghir is also involved for managing the drug trafficking in this case.
Another attempt was foiled by the staff of the drug enforcement cell, JIAP suspected a Pakistani passenger namely Mumtaz Hussain s/o Faqir Hussain, holding Pakistani passport no. BF 6898512. He was leaving for Guangzhou (China) via Bangkok by Thai airlines flight no. TG-502. During search 1.25 kgs (net) off-white heroin powder was recovered from his possession. FIRs have been lodged in C.N.S court and further investigation is in progress.-PR
