The Chief Engineer, Irrigation Kotri Barrage Hyderabad, has intimated cultivators, civic bodies and all concerned that Kotri Barrage canals will remain close with effect from December 25, 2007 till January 10, 2008 for normal inspection/maintenance and necessary repairs of the infrastructure.
He further informed that the gates of the barrage will be raised gradually from 12.00 of mid night between 25th and 26th December 2007 will be blocked again from 12.00 mid night between 10th and 11th January 2008.
The chief engineer also said that there will be no water flow in any of the off-taking canal like Akram Wah (Lined Channel), Old Fuleli (Pinyari), New Puleli (Fuleli), KB Feeder Upper, Wadhu Wah and Fasadi Wah during the closure.
