The Newsmen and Journalists Panel (NJP) swept the annual elections of Multan Press Club (MCP) with overwhelming margin here on Sunday. Shakil Anjum (Express) and Jamshed Rizwani (Geo) of NJP were elected as President and General Secretary of MPC respectively.
Abdul Sattar Qamar (Khabrain) elected as finance secretary, Shehzad Naseer (Nawa-i-Waqt), Ausaf Elahi (Ausaf) as senior and junior vice presidents respectively, while Rashid Munir Dogar (Pakistan) elected as joint secretary.
Agha Muhammad Ali ( Express), Ijaz Tareen (Daily Pakistan), Mazhar Javed (Naya Akhbar), Nisar Awan (Jang), Ajmal Chaudhry (Khabrain), Fazeel Sahu (Express), Malik Shakil-ur-rehman Hur (Ailan), Khalid Tiger (Naya Daur), Ghazanfar Ali Shahi (APP), Rao Waseem Akhtar (Nawa-i-Waqt) and Tahir Latif (Khabrain) were elected as members executive committee of MCP.
