Like other mainstream political parties, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) has also started election campaign to mobilise workers and voters in favour of party candidates.
Former MNA and JUI (F) nominated candidate for NA-10, Maulana Muhammad Qasim Shah in his public address as part of election campaign has reiterated that his party would fully participate in the upcoming general election and will not leave the field open for any one.
Addressing a public meeting at Darul Uloom Shergarh, Maulana Qasim claimed that JUI (F) will get thumping victory in the general election due to MMA's five years performance and uplift work in NWFP.
Despite the limited resources, he said record number of projects worth billions of rupees had been completed in NWFP and Malakand Agency by the MMA government and hoped that the alliance would get maximum seats in National and Provincial assemblies and form government in centre and provinces. Developmental schemes worth Rs 960 million had been completed in this constituency during the MMA government, which was acknowledged by all and sundry, he added.
The construction of 12 bridges, up-gradation of Ganjai hospital, construction of building for Shergarh school are one of the few completed projects in NA-10, he added. He urged people to elect true representatives in general election and vote for those who have a vision and better record of serving people.
Meanwhile, candidate for PF-27, Shahid Khan also spoke on the occasion and urged people to cast their votes in favour of honest and sincere candidates.
