Women politicians pertaining to different political parties have called for a unanimous approach to help maximum turnout of eligible voters during the forthcoming polls.
Shazia Marri of Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians talking to APP here on Monday said concerted efforts have to be made to ensure security and safety strengthening public confidence in exercising their inherent right.
"The government of the day, however, has a major role and it must take into cognisance complaints made by politicians about any bias approach on part of officials," Shazia Marri said.
She stressed that a levelled field must be guaranteed so as to address the reservations of candidates belonging to opposition parties. To a question, Shazia Marri agreed that voters must be provided the comfort to vote in a peaceful environment and out of their free will.
