The Sindh Chief Minister, former Justice Abdul Qadir Halepota has said that stern action would be taken against elements responsible for creating artificial shortage of atta in the province. He said while meetings the prominent personalities at the Chief Minister House on Monday.
The CM said that the Sindh cabinet in its meeting to be held on December 11 will take concrete measures for the resolution of this problem. He said that we are aware of people's problems and it is the duty of the caretaker government to resolve their daily issues. Halepota warned that stern action would be initiated against the hoarders and if any Food Department official found involved in the crime, would not be spared.
He informed visitors that the caretaker Prime Minister Mohammad Mian Soomro would chair a meeting to help resolving the dispute between sugarcane growers and mill owners.
The Chief Minister further said that the government is taking all steps to ensure holding of free, fair and impartial elections. Halepota assured that all political parties would be provided with equal opportunities in this connection.
