Tough competition likely in NA-165, PP-228

Tough electoral competition is expected in NA-165, PP-228 that cover main parts of Pakpattan city and adjoining areas as major political parties have attached great importance to this constituency.
Pakistan Muslim League (PML) has always come up with a fresh candidate since 1985 in the constituency. Staunch Muslim Leaguers or its allied parties have usually emerged victorious from these areas.
For instance, Mian Ghulam Muhammad Ahamd Khan Manika and Mian Mehmood Ahmad khan have twice become successful from this constituency. PML-N has not nominated any candidate so far, therefore neck-to-neck fight is expected between Mian Ahmad Raza Manika of PML-Q and Mian Naseem Mehmood Hotiana of PPP.
