Punjab University's Deputy Registrar (General) Iqbal Khalil's father and proprietor Khalil Hotel, Gawalmandi Khalil Ahmad had passed away. His funeral prayer was offered at Madrasa-e-Anwar-ul-Uloom, Muhajarabad, Multan Road Lahore and he was buried in a local graveyard.
Vice-Chancellor Punjab University Professor Dr Muhammad Arif Butt, Registrar Professor Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan, Additional Registrar Colonel Mustansar Javed (Retd), Additional Treasurer Rao Muhammad Sharif, Project Director Sheikh Muhammad Ali, Resident Officer-II Malik Muhammad Zaheer, University Engineer Colonel Mir Pervez Mhamood, Muhammad Arif, Director PU Housing Scheme Colonel Sarfraz ul Haq, Deputy Controller Jalil Tariq, Deputy Controller Rauf Nawaz, Raja Shahid, Resident Auditor Sohail Shaukat, President Employees Union Saif Ur Rehman Attique, Zahoor Awan, Assistant Registrars, Assistant Controllers, university administrative officers, employees and a large number of relatives attended the funeral prayer.
'Qul' for the eternal peace of late will be held on Friday, 14th December 2007 (today) at Madrasa-e-Anwar-ul-Uloom, Muhajarabad, Multan Road Lahore after Friday prayer.
