Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has informed the Election Commission of Pakistan and Sindh about unauthorised transfer/postings in the country, said PPP Secretary Information, Sherry Rehman. Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press club, she welcomed the decision of political entities to contest the General Election-2008.
She said that large number of letters have been sent to ECP and Sindh with the complaint of unauthorised transfers/postings. The transfers/postings during polls is violation of elections' rules, she noted.
The PPP leader said despite of alleged planning by some elements to rig the election, political parties have decided to contest the polls. The PPP candidate for Jacobabad-I, constituency NA-208, Ejaz Jakhrani and Deputy Information Secretary, PPP Sindh Waqar Mehdi were also present.
