Former Sindh Health Minister Syed Sardar Ahmed has said that January 8 elections would add a new chapter to the history of Pakistan and the sun of Haq Parast movement will rise with all shine. Addressing corner meetings, Sardar Ahmed, who is contesting election from Provincial Constituency PS-116, said.
MQM firmly believes that the commitment of service to people and doing something for them never goes waste. He said the philosophy of Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain has now reached all corners of the country and is being wholeheartedly welcomed.
He described the record of welfare and development activities set by MQM a golden chapter in the history of Pakistan. He said this could become possible because of strict adherence to the ideology propounded by Quaid-e-Tehreek which advocates well being of 98 percent poor and middle class people. "We have served all classes of people without any discrimination - whether it had been the rehabilitation of earthquake-hit people or helping the victims of flood and calamity".
He particularly referred to development works executed in those areas where MQM did not had majority and said progress and prosperity of such areas speaks lot about MQM's enlightenment and moderation and spirit of public service. Sardar Ahmed announced that forthcoming elections would reject such so-called political candidates who come and do flirtation with people only at the time of elections and disappear thereafter.
The people will not be swayed away by such political parties and elements any more whose past and present was based on false promises, cheat and fraud, he said and added that now people will be chosen only on the basis of performance. He said it was for this reason that in the last elections, Altaf Hussain had introduced such candidates who promoted his philosophy of service to people for five years and this time too that kind of leadership is being brought forward and which directly relates to poor and middle class people having full acquaintance with the problems and difficulties of their fellow beings.
