Four men have died while working in an illegal gold mine in Vietnam, a police source said Saturday. The four miners, aged between 20 and 21, died Thursday and are believed to have suffocated in the well in central Quang Nam province, a local police source who refused to be named told AFP.
"The mine is located very deep into the mountainous area," he said, adding that it took several days to get there to investigate the accident. "This is an illegal gold-exploiting mine. We have many illegal mines like that here," he said.
