Tahir Ishaq Bharara of Bharara Textiles was elected Chairman of Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) for the year 2008 here Saturday. He would be assisted by Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Naeem of Enn Eff Exports and Vice Chairman Sheikh Masood Ahmed of Tex-Arts during his tenure.
Newly elected Chairman thanked the textile exporters for reposing confidence and assured that he would take steps to drag out textile industry from crisis to achieve the export target.
Newly elected Chairman also assured that he would maintain the policies of Mian Zahid Aslam Chairman PTEA. He would not only concentrate on problems being confronted to exporters but also encourage PTEA to play its role in social sector by undertaking public welfare projects.
