Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister former justice Abdul Qadir Halepota has said the development schemes would not be allowed to become victim of red tapism. Not only that public welfare schemes should be completed within the stipulated period but quality should also improve, he said while chairing a high level meeting at Chief Minister House here.
He called for effective monitoring of schemes of roads, clean drinking water, drainage, health and other welfare sectors. He directed Sindh Secretary Finance that there should not be unnecessary delay in the release of funds as it is the explicit directive of President Pervez Musharraf that basic necessities of life should be provided to people at their doorsteps.
