Sindh Women Development Department Minister, Nadira Panjwani has lauded the efforts of officers and staff of women directorate in promoting and organising events that depict Sindh handicrafts prepared by women.
She stated this at certificate distribution award ceremony held for employees of directorate, for organising and exhibiting handicraft of Thar in Sunday bazaar at Defence. Nadira said that women artisans would be helped so that their products are recognised nationally and internationally.
She said that in this regard her department soon would be dealing with relevant authorities to ensure that artisans get prompt recognition besides value of their product. Later, she distributed certificates among the officials and congratulated them for their efforts in making the event successful. On this occasion, Secretary Women Development Department, Subhan Memon and Director Development Directorate, Ashfaq Qadri were also present.
