Candidates contesting the upcoming January 8 general elections are utilising all available resources to muster maximum support of people in their favour and were not wasting any opportunity in this regard.
Some of the contenders took the advantage of Eid-ul-Azha and sent Eid greetings to the voters of their respective areas along with election message through mobile SMS.
A voter of university town area which come in the jurisdiction of NA: 2 and PF: 5 constituencies showed a message which he received from candidates of Awami National Party (ANP).
Both Arbab Najibullah, contesting for NA: 2 constituency and Atifur Rehman Khalil, contesting from PF: 5, sent Eid greetings along with request for voting in their favour.
The candidates also mentioned their election symbol (lantern) in the message so that people could rightly vote in their favour during polling.
