Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Nisar A Memon has welcomed the international community especially the US support for Pakistan's courageous role and sacrifices in the fight against terror saying such support has further strengthened his country's resolve to fight terror with renewed vigour.
Terming the condemnation of Charsadda blast from UNSC, OIC, Afghan government and USA as very important, he told PTV that the whole world stood firmly behind the people of Pakistan.
He asked the world community to continue supporting Pakistan in its fight against the evil as this is the right time that every country should extend economic and moral support to Pakistan.
Appreciating American resolve that Pakistan's aid will not be restricted, he said, it was happy to note that the funding for Pakistan was being released soon by the USA on the basis of 2003 agreement between US President George Bush and his Pakistani counterpart President Pervez Musharraf.
The interim government headed by Muhammad Mian Soomro and guided by President Pervez Musharraf is further strengthened by this kind of support to the people of Pakistan inspite of that they were forced to face the terror while celebrating Eid, he said while referring to Charsadda blast. He said Pakistan was fighting the war on terror as it suits the country.
