Academic convocation of University of Sindh will be held on December, 29 at main ground of the Faculty of Arts building of the University. According to announcement by Registrar Muhammad Saleh Rajar that due to large number of degrees recipients and their parents, academicians and guests the University has made arrangement of academic convocation at main ground of the University at Allama I I Kazi Campus Jamshoro.
For the academic convocation a new stage has been constructed which has been decorated with a beautiful art by artists of Institute of Art and Design of the University.
The Governor Sindh Dr Ishratrul Ibad Khan who is Chancellor of the University of Sindh will preside over the convocation and will confer degrees upon the graduates and will decorate with medals to the graduates.
A total number of 1100 graduates and post graduate students and M Phil and Ph D scholars would receive their degrees as well as Vice Chancellor and Chancellor Medals.
The Controller of Examination Dr Parvez Pathan has said that list of the degree as well as medals recipients has been finalised and invitation cards along with inner cards would be issued to all candidates and their parents.
The rehearsal of the convocation will be held on December, 28 at convocation hall as announced by Secretary organising Committee of convocation Dr Parveen Shah and added that transport facility will be provided to candidates from Hyderabad Old Campus. It is further announced that all candidates as well as Deans of Faculties and faculty members will attend rehearsal of the convocation.
