District Government Sialkot (DGS) is spending more than Rs 400 million during current fiscal on construction of 200 KM long new roads in Sialkot, Pasrur, Daska and Sambrial tehsils of the district. The work on the project would be started soon in all tehsils' headquarters of the district.
Official sources told Business Recorder here on Monday that the construction of 93 roads had already been completed during past two years by the district government at a cost of more than Rs 350.60 million, while repair and rehabilitation of 85 roads at a cost of Rs 230 million had also been completed during the same period.
