In occupied Kashmir, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People's League (JKPL) Sheikh Abdul Aziz while condemning the assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto said that her death was a great loss to Pakistani and Kashmiri people.
In a statement in Srinagar on Sunday, he said that late Benazir Bhutto and her father Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto made their all out efforts to bring the Kashmir dispute to the international forum in an effective manner.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family, KMS reported.
Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and senior Hurriyat leader Bilal Ghani Lone, met Sheikh Abdul Aziz on his release from jail at his residence in Pampore.
The Hurriyat leaders discussed the current situation prevailing in occupied Kashmir and expressed concern over human rights violations in the held territory. They reiterated that freedom struggle would be continued till the Kashmir dispute was resolved according to Kashmiris' aspirations.
