A task force would be set up for the eradication of narcotics. This was announced by the Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation, Dr Abdul Karim Mahar, here on Sunday. He said this task force would consist of police, Rangers and the personnel of the excise and taxation department.
The minister pointed out that a comprehensive operation would be conducted against the drug peddlers and their patrons to cleanse the province of the menace of narcotics. He said that action would be initiated against such elements irrespective of their influence.
Mahar said the younger generation is our asset and they should stay away from the menace of narcotics and take care of their health. He further stated that eradication of narcotics is among his top priorities.
