Huge number of sad workers of Pakistan Peoples Party, other political parties and activists of civil society organisations held on Sunday a demonstration at the gate of Rawalpindi General Hospital and lit the candles to pay homage to martyred leader.
They demanded the Rawalpindi General Hospital (RGH), where the martyred leader Benazir Bhutto breathed her last on Thursday, to be named as 'Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Memorial Hospital' to pay glowing tribute to their leader.
Meanwhile, they lit the candles at the gate of Liaqat Hall, the place of suicide bombing incident to pay homage to martyred leader also placed a picture of martyred leader Benazir Bhutto at the spot and showered flower patels on it.
The demonstrators demanded immediate arrest of the people behind the killings and said that government had wasted all the evidence from the scene. They said that international agencies should be allowed to investigate this incident to bring the real culprits to task.
