Amir Jamiat Ulema Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim. Talking to the Geo News, Senator Azam Sawati said Fazlur Rehman met Amin Faheem to convince the PPP that postponement of elections will benefit the country.
During the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman told Amin Fahim that there is no law and order problem in Balochistan and NWFP provinces. However, Fazlur Rehman said the law and order situation in Punjab and Sindh was out of hand, and it would be difficult to continue election campaign.
