A truck driver was killed when some miscreants fired rocket at his vehicle near Lurkan (Barkhan district) of Balochistan here on Tuesday. According to Moosakhel police the driver Hafiz Khalil Ahmed (35), resident of Shadan-Lund (Dera Ghazi Khan) was on his way to Punjab with loaded coal when unidentified miscreants fired rocket at his vehicle resulting in his immediate death.
The conductor of the truck who was seriously injured in the incident has been admitted to Dera Ghazi Khan hospital, police added. Later the truck driver was buried in Shadan Lund town some 90-km north-west of Multan on Tuesday.
