Pakistan-Sri Lanka Business Council of FPCCI has postponed its scheduled visit to Sri Lanka in the wake of the prevailing situation in Pakistan after the assassination of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto.
According to the chairman of the council Rehmatullah Javed here Tuesday, the business community of Pakistan was badly hit by the recent violence and it was difficult to visit Sri Lanka. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the planned visit and re-schedule it for another suitable and convenient date in near future.
Rehmatullah Javed also offered his sincere condolences with the family members and supporters of Benazir Bhutto on her tragic death and prayed Almighty Allah to give courage to the family to bear this irreparable.
