Provincial chief of PML-N, Sardar Zulfikar Ali Khan Khosa has said that the PML-N decided to participate in the elections on the request of PPP. Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, he said: "We announced to boycott the polls after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto to send a message of solidarity and sympathy, however things have changed now," he maintained.
Khosa said that following the Election Commission decision on holding general elections, Central Working Committee meeting will be summoned to decide future strategy.
He said that the PML-N was not afraid of upcoming polls, adding if the polls were held in a free, fair and transparent manner then undoubtedly the PML-N would sweep the elections.
