The smooth of supply of essential goods particularly flour to the citizens of entire district of Hyderabad has been restored. According to an announcement of the District Government Hyderabad, the authorities of Utility Stores Corporation Hyderabad have informed that stock of around 30,000-kg sugar, 25,000-kg rice, 50,000-kg, 5,000-kg Kissan ghee.
Five thousand kilograms Mung, 4,000-kg Masoor, two-and-half thousand kilograms Bassen, 10,000 tons edible oil and 9,000-kg White gram is still available in the warehouse of the corporation situated in Qasimabad.
Under special arrangements, the District Government has established special flour stalls in Talukas of Hyderabad City, Latifabad and Qasimabad where flour is being sold at control rate of Rs 16 per kilogram under supervision of Union Council Nazims. As a result of the efforts of law enforcement agencies, petrol pumps have also started functioning in different parts of the district where petrol and diesel are being provided to public transport and vehicles of essential services departments.
