The state-run, the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has issued two separate tenders to import a total of 610,000 tonnes of wheat to boost buffer stocks, an agency official said on Wednesday.
Tenders have been issued separately for 300,000 tonnes and 310,000 tonnes of wheat, and bids from foreign suppliers, both pre-qualified as well as non-pre-qualified, will be received by January 12 and opened the same day, the corporation said.
