Former foreign minister and central vice president PML(Q), Mian Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri has said that assassination of Pakistan People's Party's chairperson, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is a deep intrigue against the country and the nation.
He paid rich tribute to late Benazir Bhutto saying that she was a great leader who wanted to strengthen the federation. He called upon all political parties to unite and give up their differences for the national interest in this sensitive time.
Kasuri regretted that the stance of violence and vandalism is badly harming the solidarity of the country. He was addressing public meetings in Kanganpur, Khuddian and other areas of the district here on Tuesday evening.
He said that despite his busy schedule as minister he gave priority to development in Kasur district where numerous projects of infrastructure development and provision of civic amenities were started.
