Two brothers and a lady dancer were killed, while five others, including a lady singer were sustained serious injuries, when some jubilant participants opened fire in a wedding party in Buraj Mandi, here on late Tuesday.
According to details, one Abdul Ghafoor of Chak No102-JB Buraj Mandi arranged a music party, celebrating wedding ceremony of his son. When dancer Tania and folk singer Aashi Jatti were performing at stage, meanwhile some jubilant drunker participants opened fire.
Consequently, Zaka ullah, his younger brother Sana ullah and dancer Tania died on the spot. While five others were injured, including Aashi Jatti, who were shifted to hospital for the treatment. However, Chak Jhumra Police have registered a case and investigation is in progress.
