A three-member delegation led by Secretary Board of Investment (BOI), Mushtaq Malik on Wednesday visited the World Trade Centre Islamabad and also reviewed the construction work on the ongoing commercial and housing projects of Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd (AGGPPL), says a Press Release.
Other members of the delegation included Executive Director General, Major (Retd) Iqbal Ahmed, and Director General Asia and Middle East, Riaz-ul-Haq. The delegation was briefed by COO Haji Anis Pardesi on the progress made in the construction of the above two projects.
The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of AGGPPL in meeting the housing requirements in Pakistan and also in establishing, developing and operating the World Trade Centre as licensee of World Trade Centres Association which they said would help attract FDI besides enhancing international trade. The projects would give rise to 32 construction-related industries and create employment thus alleviating poverty, the release said. The delegation assured AGGPPL of every possible assistance and co-operation in making the project a success.-PR
