Hideya Iijima has recently taken charge of Hinopak as Managing Director & CEO. To welcome H. Iijima and to bid farewell to K. Maeda, Managing Director & CEO of Hinopak a ceremony was held at a local hotel recently. The ceremony was attended by large numbers of guests from various walks of life.
In his welcome speech Kunwar Idris, Chairman Hinopak Motors said that since 1998 when Hino Motors and TTC acquired majority shareholding in Hinopak Motors, the company had received three good chief executive officers from Japan. In the term of Keiji Maeda the company set new records in business volume and profit. Hinopak today is undisputedly the biggest and the best commercial vehicle company of the country.
He assured the audience that as earlier our ex MDs have worked devotedly to provide the greater service and total customer satisfaction to Hino customers, same will continue in the tenure of Iijima.
M. Irfan Shaikh in his speech paid great tribute to Keiji Maeda and said that despite growing competition during past years under Maeda's able guidance and firm support to all marketing and sales activities, Hinopak Motors has been not only able to manage its number one position in the Pakistani market but the overall market share has also risen to 70 percent. The share value of Hinopak at Karachi Stock Exchange has touched highest in year 2007 ie, Rs 616 per share which was around Rs 48 during the year 1998 when Japanese management took over the company.
He welcomed Hideya Iijima as a new Managing Director of Hinopak, and said, Iijima has vast global marketing experience and we are confident that with his experience and expertise, Iijima will have a successful tenure at Hinopak and will further consolidate and develop Hinopak to achieve our goal of total customer satisfaction.-PR
