The newly appointed Punjab University vice-chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran has appointed Dr Muhammad Saeed Shahid, Institute of Education and Research (IER), as Chairman of Elementary Education department.
According to a University spokesman, the last date for submission of application forms for different faculty posts, including Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in Punjab University teaching departments is 15th January 2008.
The advertisement for the posts was published in different national dailies on 21st and 22nd November, 2007 and the last date for submission of applications published in the advertisements was 31st December which was extended to 15th January 2008 due to Eid holidays, he added.
Moreover, Punjab University Examination Department has issued the admission schedule of B Sc (Engr), 3rd Professional, Sessional Scheme, Annual Examination 2005.
According to the schedule the last date of submission of admission forms with single fee is 8th January 2008 while the forms can be submitted with double fee till 9th January 2008. The exam will commence from 14th January 2008.
Meanwhile, University Examination Department has issued the date sheet of B Sc Applied Geology, 2nd Professional, Second Annual Examination 2006. The exam will commence from 10th January 2008 and will conclude on 16th January 2008.
