The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will give 40 acres of land near new parade ground to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the construction of an international standard cricket stadium. CDA and PCB signed an agreement in this regard here Wednesday at CDA headquarter.
Under the agreement the Authority will give the land to PCB in a period of one month, on lease for 33 years. The Pakistan Cricket Board will start work on the design and construction of stadium within a year, while its final design would be approved by both the CDA and PCB. The agreement is aimed at promoting cricket in the federal capital, said an official of the Authority.
