Ashura-e-Muharram: arrangements for stable power supply finalised

The city coordination committee of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) finalised arrangements for maintaining stable power supply during Ashura-e-Muharram in a meeting held at KESC head office.
The meeting was presided over by Director distribution Jamil Gul Shiekh, while senior member of the committee Maulana Mohammad Hanif, general managers A.H. Parchani, Amir Bux Memon, Rafiq Khanzada, Rashid Hussain and Ashiq Hussain Mughal also attended the meeting.
Jamil informed the meeting that priority has been given to sub station, PMTS, feeders where ever main Imam Bargahs and mosques are situated. He further informed that standby generators have also been arranged at such important locations. The meeting was informed that KESC would also arrange standby vehicles along with staff, which will accompany the main procession from 8th to 10th Muharram.-PR
