Passport office branch to be set up in Malir

Project Director Passport and Immigration, Junaid Mushtaq Qureshi, accompanied by his team on Wednesday inspected the site at Malir Town Office for setting up a Passport Branch Office. Acting Nazim Malir Town, Sharafat Ali, Deputy Director Passport and Immigration, Manzoor Ahmed Malik and other officials were also present.
Passport and Immigration spokesman said that funds have been approved for setting up Malir branch and construction of the building would be started within a month. The branch will facilitate the towns including Malir, Landhi, Shah Faisal, Korangi, Bin Qasim and Gadap. The spokesman said that the project got delayed for six months because a passport office was being set-up in Khairpur also and the work had already been started there.
