The local police and security forces in a joint raid over a private hospital in Saidu Sharif area on Friday rounded up an under-treatment key militant commander and five other suspects.
A joint team of the local police and security forces arrested militant Commander Dr Khan and other suspects identified as Alamgir, Mian Shahnshah, Mian Qamar Ali Shah and Taza Gul, all residents of Chuparyal Matta. According to police sources, Dr Khan is an important commander of the militants and considered among the top aides of rebellious cleric Maulana Fazlullah.
