The Lahore High Court Bar Association has condemned the action of the government to get vacate the official residence from deposed Chief Justice Pakistan Iftikkhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
While talking to newsmen here in the bar premises secretary bar Sarfraz Cheema said government could not get vacate official residence from Justice Iftikhar as he is still Chief Justice of Pakistan.
He said lawyers' community would not allow the government to outs Justice Iftikhar forcibly. He said lawyers had already fought and struggled for him and they would not allow the government to threaten and undermined the bench. He said although government has appointed judges in the higher courts but lawyers accept Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry as Chief Justice Pakistan and would not allow the government to expel him from his official residence.
