Irsa releases 43,650 cusecs water from reservoirs

Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Monday released 43,650 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded on Monday was 51,831 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded was 1421.04 feet.
The present water level at the dam was 52 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 18,100 cusecs while outflow was at 13,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1109.45 feet which was 69 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 9,081 cusecs while outflow was recorded at 6,000 cusecs.
