All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) Sindh Convenor and Amir JI Sindh Asadullah Bhutto said on Tuesday that new polls, as well as, formation of any national government under the present regime would not be acceptable, as it could not end the persisting political crisis is Pakistan.
In a statement here, he said rumours about the formation of national government were spread to harm the struggle of various sections of civil society for the restoration of independent judiciary and media. He rejected the claim that wheat flour was available in Pakistan at the lowest rate as compared to other countries.
He said that on one hand rulers were boasting of bringing a socio-economic development while on the other country was being hit by bomb blasts and skyrocketing price hike. The whole country is in grip of terrorism due to wrong policies of government, where bomb blasts and suicide attacks have become an order of the day, APDM leader regretted.
He said that a probe should be initiated into the matter besides exposing those involved in this malpractice.
He demanded that the present rulers should step down, admitting their failure to run the country and a national government be formed after consultation with all political parties to hold free and fair elections under and independent Election Commission.
