A man was shot dead on Tuesday by an unidentified people at Sector 5E New Karachi. Police claimed that deceased was killed over resistance during bike snatching by the snatchers and when they reached on the spot he was found dead. The body has taken to Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Centre hospital for autopsy. The deceased was identified as Abdur Rasheed, 35 by his relative.
The FIR has been lodged and further investigation has been under process, police said. In another incident, an unidentified man was seriously injured by electrocution at Dilpasand sweet mart near Jama cloth market. He was, though, shifted to civil hospital for treatment.
