The Utility Stores Corporation has extended the timings of its outlets in the city to help the customers get wheat flour and cooking oil on subsidised rates.
Situated in Awan Town, Shadbagh, Pakistan Mint area (Baghbanpura), Chung, Faisal Town and Walton Road areas, these super stores will work till 10 pm daily.
Besides these six super stores, six mobiles will also be placed at different areas of the city till 10:00 pm daily. These stores were earlier working from 9 am to 5 pm. The staff on these stores will work in two shifts, said USC Zonal Manager (Lahore) Muhammad Khan while talking to Business Recorder here on Tuesday.
He said that these mobiles would keep on changing their points daily so as to facilitate maximum number of people, whereas the stores have been selected in a way that all four corners of the city could be covered.
