KPT handled 86,248 metric tons of cargo

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) handled 86,248 metric ton cargo, including 62,808 metric ton import cargo and 23,440 metric ton export cargo during the last 24 hours here on Wednesday.
According to KPT, the total dry cargo consist of 81,248 metric ton, which includes 44,664 metric ton general cargo and 36,584 metric ton bulk cargo while the total oil/liquid cargo contain 5,000 metric ton.
KPT handled the import cargo, which includes 25,015 metric ton general cargo, 4,263 metric ton fertiliser, 30,030 metric ton coal and 3,500 metric ton oil/liquid cargo. Export cargo activity comprised 19,649 metric ton general cargo, 2,291 metric ton cement and 1,500 metric ton oil/liquid cargo.
