The Punjab University is taking all measures to focus on academic collaboration with its foreign counterparts to raise the standard of education.
University Vice Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran made this comment when his university, that of its Korean counterpart, Geumgang, and Vienna of Austria signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance mutual co-operation, digitisation and descriptive cataloguing of Woolner Collection of manuscripts of the Punjab University's library.
The delegation of Geumgang and Vienna Universities were Doctors Sung Yang Kang, Park, Choi Gi Pyo, Shim Jeakwan, Dosu, Junglan Bang and Hyunjung Ryoo. Registrar Professor Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan, Chairman Department of Physics Dr Shaukat Ali, Hall Council Chairman Dr Saeed Ahmad Nagra, Students Advisor Dr Mujahid Ali Mansoori and Chief Librarian Chaudhry Muhammad Hanif were also present.
