National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sindh on Friday arrested a former bank executive and Chairman of Prudential Commercial Bank Limited and Prudential Group Rashidullah Yaqoob from Karachi. According to a NAB release, the accused was involved in misappropriation of Rs 85 million of bank's amount by falsifying and altering the bank record.
A NAB reference number 82/2007 was filed against him in Accountability Court, Karachi and non-bailable warrant was issued by the Administrative Judge of Accountability Courts, Karachi.
It may be mentioned here that the accused is also involved in embezzlement of Rs 79 million in Prudential Group for which four investigations are under way by NAB Sindh. He will be produced before Administrative Judge of Accountability Courts on Monday for Judicial custody.
