Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 71,283 tonnes cargo including 49,891 tonnes import, 21,392 tonnes export cargo and 3,414 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The cargo comprised of 39,468 tonnes dry cargo including 32,380 tonnes general cargo; 7,088 tonnes Bulk cargo and 31,815 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Five ships sailed out to sea during the report period. Five vessels are currently at the berths.
