Thin business was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Monday. Many buyers were on the sideline, dealers said. The January vaida opened unchanged at Rs 655.00 and closing was seen at the same level with no fluctuation for the day's bottom and highest levels, they said.
The March contract opened with 50 paisa gain at Rs 709.00 and that proved to be day's best at the same level and closing was also seen at the same rate. During lacklustre trading, it fell by rupee one to be day's lowest at Rs 708.00, dealers said.
